SCHOLARS’ SCHOLAR 2017

Mathew Monaghan, aged 27 from Northern Ireland and who suffers from muscular dystrophy, is the first recipient of a scholarship funded by the Scholars’ Scholar campaign and will be training at Shadow Aviation in the summer.

Michael Holden receives MBE in New Years Honours List Copy Copy

Flying Scholarships for Disabled People are delighted to announce that scholar Michael Holden has been awarded an MBE by HM Queen in this New Year Honours List.

The award was made for services to the disabled community in Northern Ireland and comes following extensive awareness raising by Michael, to the needs of people with disabilities. Andy Lewis receives MBE from HRH Prince Charles
