Since 1998, founded in Kaliningrad, Russia, UG has established a strong community following with over 10 million registered users who participate in forums, contribute tabs, lessons and articles and are passionate members of all things rock’n’roll. Justin Sandercoe started teaching guitar online way back in 2001 offering examples of lessons students might get in his one-on-one lessons. He was quick to realize the potential of online video and started posting video lessons on YouTube in 2006 and since then has clocked up over 400 million views of his YouTube videos and has almost a million subscribers to his main channel (and over 900k on the second channel)!

The main focus of the site is sheet music, but we offer a wide range of resources for musicians, from tuners, to chord charts, to lessons. Although we are a business, we love providing free resources for musicians and our aim is to keep a large percentage of the site free (currently around 90%). The good news is we can support our work via ads on the free parts of the site. Our subscriptions are available for access to a range of add-on features, including unlimited playalong tracks, parts and transpositions, as well as higher quality print-outs.

Free Scores

Free-scores provides free broadcast and media hosting for composer, arrangers and publishers. It facilitates contact among musicians, and monitoring of the audience of your musical works. . Interpreters record and add their interpretations on the site.
We also feature a directory of free sheet music sites.
