In 2009, Jacqui fell down the stairs, breaking her neck and incurring a life-changing spinal cord injury. She was selected for a ground-braking operation which eventually meant she could walk again but she still suffers from numerous symptoms including chronic pain, fatigue and partial paralysis to her right side.
