Every day is a struggle for Kathy who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis; from rolling out of bed in pain, to heaving herself into her wheelchair and to sleepless. She also suffers from fatigue and anxiety and rarely feels positive about life.

She had to give up work a year ago and has pretty much stayed in her bedroom ever since as she didn’t want people seeing her in a wheelchair. Most of her life has revolved around horses and now unable to ride she is looking for a new challenge to kick-start her life.

“I was fortunate to have experienced a flight in a light aircraft over the Swiss Alps and felt exhilarated by it. I think learning to fly could become my life changing passion, improve my self-confidence and will help my life turn a corner. The experience will give me lots of smiles and fond memories”
