In April, Former Scholar Abi Evans and Trustee John Sorsby took to our TV Screens on BBC News, sharing our story over the past 40 years and giving an insight into how we shape lives with the power of flight.
John is a Trustee of the FSDP and Flying Instructor at Bristol Aero Club in Gloucestershire, he also flies for British Airways as a Captain but gives up his free time to teach students how to fly. Abi was a scholar in 2022 with her sponsor being the RAF Red Arrows Trust, she now has over 20 hours of flying under her belt and can’t wait to do more.
