Monday’s good news story from Ex-scholar Simon Gillespie-Khan…
Two years ago (and a week) I left Gloucester after completing my Scholarship. I had my medical with Gus who cleared me for Class 2 before heading back home . Following a few (lots of) setbacks (weather in the North and smashing my only knee up on the ice with a prolonged recovery to mention a couple), I’d like to let you know I passed my PPL skills test today.
I could not have done this without you guys. From being awarded a scholarship, being given the confidence and training by Debs to go solo, Being medically cleared to fly by John & Gus and receiving the tutoring and support throughout.
My head is all over the place currently but I wanted to let you know that I’ve passed. I will no doubt update you all further when I see you but I just wanted to give you all (and the extended FSDP family) a whole hearted thanks.
